Kute Klipboards by Amy ** Flower Mound, Texas

I thought these clipboards were both cute and clever and, since I have never seen anything like them, unique.

Amy, a stay-at-home mom of three, lives in Flower Mound, Texas (a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth). She has been designing and making clipboards for about two years after being inspired by some clipboards a friend had made. Amy liked them so much she asked her friend’s permission to make and sell them herself. Since her friend didn’t have time to make enough to sell, she gave Amy the go-ahead. That was the beginning of “Kute Klipboards by Amy”.

New designs are based on what Amy finds when she is looking for paper. Once she finds a pattern she likes, she adds other paper, quotes, scriptures, embellishments….whatever her artistic eye finds appealing.

Amy loves to do custom orders. She has designed and made clipboards for various colleges, high schools and other groups, using their colors, mascots, themes and so forth. She has a CRICUT machine which allows her to cut out names or phrases using any paper. All of Amy’s clipboards are unique…she doesn’t repeat a pattern unless it is specifically ordered that way. She enjoys experimenting with different paper combinations and when she makes one, she says, “it is definitely one of a kind!”

In addition to her Etsy shop, Amy sells her clipboards in three area boutiques and also does several craft shows in her area. Check out her shop for a list of uses (beyond the obvious) for the clipboards and see all the “kute klipboards” she has for sale. In addition to regular sized clipboards, Amy also makes post-it note holders and memo sized clipboards.
